Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility policies, including compliance with a drug-free campus policy
• Participate in unit orientation as required prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois (IL) RN license, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Current and valid Registered Nurse credentials
• Must pass a drug screen for all panels prior to placement
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may still be considered under a local rate structure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical inpatient setting
• Familiarity with acute care workflows and electronic medical record systems
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
