Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
- Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a separate telemetry monitoring unit
- Float as needed to all acute care areas, cardiology (to manage medical patients), and the EC for acute care patient holds
- Collaborate with CNA support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
- Adhere to unit dress code; Caribbean Blue scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification required (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (based on address on candidate's driver's license) to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred but not required
- Experience in Medical Surgical or acute care settings
- Comfort with floating to multiple units including cardiology and acute care
