# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 Night shifts (weekdays and weekends); 13-week contract with possible extension

Highlights:
  • 34-bed acute medical-surgical unit with diverse patient diagnoses and complex care needs
  • Patient ratio of 1:5-7 on night shift
  • Cerner EMR system
  • Daily census of 25-30 patients
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Flexible scheduling; unit will work with travelers on schedule requests when possible
Requirements:
  • Active West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license accepted for submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (all certifications must be American Heart Association for BLS/ACLS)
  • Cerner charting system experience required
  • Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility location
  • Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
  • Strong attendance record and reliability essential
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Additional Information:
