Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancellation.
Preferred skills include telemetry and management of dysrhythmias.
Contract staff may be assigned to a storm team or hurricane team.
Contracts may require reporting during catastrophic events or disasters.
Staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
Patient diagnoses may include dementia, diabetes, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, and hip fracture.
Typical medical/surgical diagnoses plus COVID are encountered.
Unit systems include medication, documentation, and communication systems.
This position may involve floating to other units as needed.
Weekend requirements range from 12-16 shifts per contract.
Employees must pass EKG testing prior to the start for this specialty.
All RTO must be pre-approved.
Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility per job description.
