Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Oncology RN – West Virginia

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, weekdays with every other weekend; 3x12 or 4x12 schedule available
Highlights:
- 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with medical-surgical overflow
- Patient ratio of 1:5-6 for manageable workload
- Chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not required
- 13-week contract with potential for extension; facility open to longer commitments
- Cerner EMR system with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response, and more
- Blocked scheduling available
Requirements:
- Active West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license accepted for submission)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification required
- ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred
- IV start proficiency required
- Minimum of two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years
- Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility location
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Consistent attendance required; facility expects no more than 2-3 call-offs per contract
