Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical – New York

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM | Block scheduling availability may vary | Floating to other units as needed

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical unit specializing in post-surgical care including abdominal, orthopedic, and bariatric procedures
• Common diagnoses include post-op management, fractures, osteoarthritis, cholelithiasis, and morbid obesity
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Adult patient population
• EMR system: EPIC
• Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted New York RN license (all RN licenses must be active and verified through NURSYS)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Completed skills checklist matching specialty
• Must provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission
