Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Central New York

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; floating to other units as needed; block scheduling requests considered but not guaranteed

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical unit caring for adult patient population with diverse post-surgical and acute care needs
• Common diagnoses include post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery patients
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Epic EMR system in use
• Contract start date in October 2026
• Scrub color: Navy blue

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered New York RN license required
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
