TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Little Rock, Arkansas, 72205!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) Must-Have: Basic medical/surgical relevant and current experience Description: Interview directly with the manager. 48-hour guaranteed hours per week. This position is for the Float Pool between medical and surgical units. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Total care is provided with no patient care assistants. There is no telemetry; only occasional strip reading is required. The facility will transition to a new electronic health record system in November 2026. Experience in a large hospital setting is needed. Unit has 128 beds. Common diagnoses include surgical services like colorectal and bariatric, as well as medical conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. Charge nurses are present on each shift and take assignments. Patient care techs are available; their ratios and duties may vary. Respiratory therapy support is readily available for any equipment issues. There is no requirement for RNs to read their own telemetry strips. Staffing assignments are based on the needs of the areas. Weekend work is required every other week. There is no holiday requirement. No on-call or standby requirements exist. Floating to any medical/surgical pod is required. The dress code includes navy scrubs, which are not provided. Cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. Charting is performed using a specific electronic record system.
