Job Opportunity - Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - Georgia

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week with rotating weekends; 1:7 patient ratio on a 40-bed medical-surgical unit

Highlights:

• Join a well-established medical-surgical unit with strong support including 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 4 patient care technicians, and 1 unit coordinator per shift
• Work with standard medical-surgical equipment and Meditech documentation system
• Perform procedures including EKGs, glucose monitoring, and venipuncture
• Contract labor is prioritized for floating to similar units
• Part of a 354-bed acute care facility recognized for specialized services including a nationally renowned burn center and award-winning emergency services
• Experience a supportive facility culture with strong managerial support and collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Ability to meet patient experience standards and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Royal blue scrubs (top and bottom) required
