Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,398 per week in Fargo, ND

Job Title: Med Surg Resource Team/Float Pool - RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day/Night Rotate Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active RN License from North Dakota or a Compact state Certifications: BLS (AHA); NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 year recent Medical Surgical experience in a busy large hospital with over 200 beds - Float Pool experience preferred - First-time travelers will be considered if their primary experience is in Resource Pool/Float Pool - EPIC experience is required - Willingness to float within the Medical Surgical cluster Description: All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility. Floating may occur to over units and departments, including Medical Surgical overflow spaces and status patients within critical care units.

Scrubs are required to be navy blue. This position does not accept travelers living within a 60-mile radius of the facility. Local travel rates apply for those living 60 to 80 miles from the facility. Position requires head-to-toe assessments and medication administration by various routes. Responsibilities include care plan formulation/documentation and wound/line/drain care. Equipment utilized in this role includes Epic EMR, Accudose RX, Alaris IV pumps, and Philips vital machines. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:4-5 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 1:5-6 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Floating may occur to over units and departments, including Medical Surgical overflow spaces and status patients within critical care units. Orientation includes one full shift on a Medical Surgical unit and campus tours during the first week of hire.
