Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Provide high-quality care to patients with common diagnoses such as stroke, altered mental status, and COPD.
- Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps and feeding tubes.
- Adapt to floating requirements across different units.
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical environments, specifically with stroke stepdown.
- Active NY RN license and all other active RN licenses verified by NURSYS Report.
- Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (NIH is required; can be obtained before the start).
- Travel experience is mandatory.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
