Description:
This is a 60-bed Medical Surgical Unit with mixed acuity and diverse patient populations.
Patients consist of post-surgical cases, diverse medical conditions, traumas, strokes, and inpatient hospice.
It is a challenging and fast-paced environment with great learning opportunities.
Nursing on this unit is patient-centered, focused on patient safety, and delivery of quality care for positive outcomes.

Using clinical pathways, patient education, and interactive communication, all aspects of patient care are addressed.

Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care based on patient assessments.
