Schedule: Medical/Surgical unit staffingHighlights:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse medical/surgical patient population including pre- and post-operative patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Utilize specialized monitoring equipment and respond to critical patient needs based on nursing standards and protocols
  • Engage in patient education including post-treatment home care, illness/injury management, and discharge planning
  • Contract assignment with immediate need for experienced Med/Surg nurses
Requirements:
  • Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state compact RN license
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
  • Experience with medication administration, IV therapy, catheter insertion, wound care, and dressing changes
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to respond to life-saving situations
  • Excellent time management and documentation skills
  • EMR experience required
