- Shift: Straight Nights
- Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, and Callback required per unit needs
- Charge responsibilities per unit needs
- 48 hours billed at regular time will be considered
About the Unit
- A unique adult medical/surgical unit — one of only a handful of similar units in the country
- Serves patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral health issues
- An expanding unit seeking flexible, enthusiastic, and committed nurses to support its growth
- Nurses are eligible for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after the experience requirement is attained
Position Requirements
- Active RN License — New York State only
- Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience
- Psychiatry/psychology experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Willingness to care for a varied patient population in a changing environment
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association only
