Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical surgical setting.
Epic experience required.
Must be able to float to like medical surgical departments as needed.
Description:
Local rate applies for travelers within a specified distance from the facility.
Offering up to 26 weeks.
The shift is from 7 PM to 7:30 AM for 36 hours per week.
Additional hours may be picked up as needed.
Weekend requirement is every other weekend.
Holiday requests will be discussed with management for accommodation.
Call requirement is not applicable.
Patient ratio is 1:5-6 with no LPN on nights.
First time travelers are welcome to apply.
Patient diagnoses may include pneumonia, heart failure, GI bleed, DKA, AMS, and sepsis.
Unit staffing typically includes charge taking fewer patients when fully staffed.
Daily census averages 33 patients.
Candidates should be prepared for high-acuity cases and have experience managing various medical procedures.
