Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week, day shift; 1:5-6 patient ratio; 12-16 weekend shifts per contract period

- Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
- Two orientation shifts on unit following hospital-based orientation; manager-created schedules
- Float requirement applies; blocked scheduling may be accommodated based on individual requests
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Active North Carolina or Compact State RN license
- BLS certification required; ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI certifications preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred; neurology experience strongly preferred
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
- Skills in telemetry, IV management, CVA care, isolation precautions, and non-invasive airway management
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Willingness to float within facility and participate in storm/hurricane emergency response teams as assigned
