This high-acuity unit manages a diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications while thriving in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover. Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients. Managing patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs. Monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry. Collaborating with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Floating as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability, efficiency, and strong critical thinking in a high-volume setting. Epic proficiency must be clearly documented in the application. Failure to meet requirements may result in immediate contract termination. All requested time off must be disclosed in the application process and cannot be added post submission. Holiday coverage is required.
