Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This is a night shift role, starting as soon as possible, with a focus on providing comprehensive nursing care. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team using EPIC electronic medical records.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families as appropriate.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources.
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS Certification via AHA required
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
