The unit has a total of 36 beds and a staff of 55 employees. There is one Clinical Coordinator, six RNs, and two technicians on the night shift. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6. Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Ideal candidates will be team players with a positive attitude. Strong patient advocacy is essential. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Scrub colors required are navy blue and white. Hoodies, pull-overs, and t-shirts are not permitted.
