Type of equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs. EMR system utilized is Meditech. Typical hiring profile: Most recruited for is travel RNs. Must-have skills include BLS and great communication skills. Preferred skills include PALS certification and experience caring for pediatric patients. Candidates should be familiar with post-operative orthopedic care. Typical procedures performed on the unit include: Post-operative orthopedic and spinal surgical patient care.
