The facility has a rich history of serving community members since 1971. Comprising a small critical access hospital, it offers a range of services. The area is known for its natural beauty, featuring spectacular landscapes and recreational opportunities. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process. The position requires supervising and directing nursing staff activities and coordinating care with other disciplines. Utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion is essential in this role. The job includes collecting relevant data pertaining to patients' health or situations. Analyzing assessment data for diagnosing care issues is required. Developing plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes is an essential function. Implementation of care plans and coordination of delivery while promoting health and safety is key. Evaluating progress toward desired outcomes is part of the responsibilities. Collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers is necessary to ensure safe and humane care. Providing educational opportunities for patients and team members is expected. Directly conveying health information to patients, families, and treatment teams is part of the role. Participation in discharge planning is crucial for continuity of care. Delegation of tasks and coordination of the healthcare team duties is required. Other job-related duties may be assigned as necessary. Compliance with vaccination requirements is mandatory to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients.
