Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a comparable acuity hospital License: Active unencumbered RN license in Tennessee or compact state Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Cerner EMR experience Description: Position is for an Acute Care Float Registered Nurse. Nurses will be assigned by the nursing supervisor at the time staffing assignments are made. Shift hours are from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, including a 30-minute lunch. Patient ratios may vary according to need but are typically 1:6. Must have experience floating between various units including medical, surgical, trauma, and more. First-time travelers will be considered. Must be willing to work every other weekend. No on-call requirement. Travel pairs are allowed. References will be required. Candidates must have prior experience using Cerner for charting. Active and unencumbered Tennessee RN license or multi-state license is required at the time of submission. Special requirements may apply based on unit needs.
