TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Columbus, Georgia, 31901!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience. License: Georgia or Compact license required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Experience with COVID-19 patients, high respiratory needs, and telemetry. Description: Minimum experience of 2 years required. First-time travelers are accepted, provided they meet the experience requirement. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The unit supports high respiratory patient needs such as Hiflow, CPAP, BIPAP, and COVID-19 patients. Blood transfusions, wound vacs, and specialty beds are common procedures. All rooms are private and equipped with cameras, monitors, and computers. Rooms have the capability to be converted to negative pressure as needed. The staffing ratio is 1:6 with a total of 23 beds on the unit. Staff must float within the facility as needed. Work schedule includes every other weekend unless specified otherwise. Major holidays will require availability, with expectations for working certain holidays during the assignment period. Full compliance is required to start on time. RTO (requested time off) must be finalized at the time of submission. No RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer. Compliance documents must be completed within specified deadlines. Modules and trainings are non-billable and will be conducted during the orientation period. The unit has interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Special equipment utilized in the unit includes EKG machines, vein finders, and Dopplers.
