The focus will be on post-surgical patients, including those undergoing orthopedic, urological, colorectal, bariatric, neurology, and general surgical procedures. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with an expected patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. Floating within the facility may be required as needed. The nurse must adhere to required protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Availability to work one or two major holidays within the assignment period is expected. Travel experience is necessary for this role. The ability to work every other weekend unless specified otherwise is required. The position demands strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team setting. Candidates must have experience managing oxygen administration and peripheral line care. All compliance documentation must be completed in a timely manner before the start of the assignment.
