Job Title: Travel RN - MICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years MICU/MSICU experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS ACLS CCRN preferred Must-Have: - 2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience - Current BLS and ACLS certifications Description: This position is for a Travel RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Candidates will be assigned according to acuity and skills. The unit utilizes all ICU equipment including ventilators, dialysis devices, and cardiac output monitors. Documentation is managed through a specified electronic health record system. Floating may be required as needed. Candidates should have experience with procedures such as central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations. Personal appearance is important; scrubs must be royal blue, and nails should be clean and healthy with no artificial enhancements. Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors. Facial hair must be neatly trimmed, and long hair should be pulled back. Visible body art should be covered whenever possible. Piercings beyond earlobes are not allowed. Candidates must adhere to overall attendance policies.
