    Job Title

    Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

    Location

    Portland, Maine

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients on an inpatient acute care unit
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
    • Administer medications and manage IV pumps, PCA, epidural, and wound vac equipment as indicated
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the EPIC EMR system
    • Float to other units as needed per unit float rotation guidelines
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license (Maine license or compact eligibility required)
    • Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care experience
    • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
    • Current BLS certification
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    • Completion of required education modules: Stroke, SI/Restraints, Telemetry, and Blood Glucose
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with PCA, epidural management, wound vac, and IV pump operation
    • Familiarity with PLUM and Stryker equipment
    • Positive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical setting
