Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients on an inpatient acute care unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and manage IV pumps, PCA, epidural, and wound vac equipment as indicated
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the EPIC EMR system
- Float to other units as needed per unit float rotation guidelines
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Maine license or compact eligibility required)
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Completion of required education modules: Stroke, SI/Restraints, Telemetry, and Blood Glucose
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PCA, epidural management, wound vac, and IV pump operation
- Familiarity with PLUM and Stryker equipment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical setting
