    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

    Orangeburg, SC

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct bedside nursing care for Medical Surgical / Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting with a 1:6 patient ratio
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia interpretation, using bedside monitors equipped with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities
    • Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
    • Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as a non-negotiable scheduling requirement
    • Collaborate with a 24/7 house supervisor and available off-shift leadership to ensure continuity of patient care
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
    • Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license; license must be in hand prior to start date
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
    • Ability to fulfill every-other-weekend shift requirement
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a community hospital environment
    • Familiarity with Epic charting system
