    Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts) | 36 or 48 hour per week options available | 13 or 26 week contract options available

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, including potential assignment to units with a focus on Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, or Stepdown/PCU level care
    • Administer and manage IV drips — drip competency is required on all floors
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    • Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes from the main campus
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport team, paramedics/swoop, and LPNs (where assigned)
    • Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements as defined by unit policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted at time of submission, though start date will be scheduled six weeks out if license is not yet in hand)
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting; experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center preferred for first-time travelers
    • BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting required
    • Demonstrated drip administration competency
    • Must be prepared to float frequently to various units to meet hospital staffing needs
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification
    • Experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center
    • Background in specialty areas such as Neuroscience, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, or Transplant nursing
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity, high-volume hospital environment
