Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit operating under a team nursing model, collaborating with PCCs, LPNs, and other support staff
• Manage patient assignments within a team nursing structure with higher-acuity ratios supported by ancillary staff
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed
• Apply Level I or Level II Trauma experience to support a high-acuity patient population
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as operationally required
• Adhere to holiday coverage expectations, including willingness to work at least 1–2 major holidays if they fall within the assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Experience in a large hospital setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• BSN preferred for certain unit designations; ADN accepted for this position
