Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience required
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in hand at time of submission
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applying specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
- No open background case or license hits; background review required prior to placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- Experience within a single facility or location for the required specialty tenure is preferred
