    Contract | Night Shift (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Extended assignment available through early 2027

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 17-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Care for patients admitted from the Emergency Department, Medical ICU, clinics, outside hospitals, and nursing facilities
    • Manage a wide range of medical diagnoses including diabetes, sickle cell crisis, COPD exacerbations, ESRD with pulmonary hypertension, and patients with wounds, drains, and tubes
    • Float within scope of practice as needed per unit float policy
    • Work every other weekend and a minimum of 2 out of 3 winter holidays as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • Nursys verification required at time of submission
    • References required
    • This unit does not have a mileage/local restriction — local candidates may be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification preferred but not required
    • BSN preferred
    • Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
