Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical-Surgical population on a telemetry-capable unit with remote monitoring
Monitor and interpret telemetry/EKG readings; all RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
Maintain patient ratios of 1:5–6 in accordance with unit standards
Float to additional health system campuses as needed to support patient care demands
Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
No open background cases permitted
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
