Registered Nurse (RN) - Hematology/Oncology & BMT

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, specifically in Hematology/Oncology and BMT, and experience in a high-volume trauma or similar hospital setting.

Job Details

  • Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (0700 - 1930)
  • Every other weekend and rotating holidays required

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Hematology/Oncology & BMT unit.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed medications as directed.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in status to the healthcare team.
  • Perform telemetry monitoring and analyze patient data accordingly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience in Hematology/Oncology/BMT or a level 1 trauma hospital.
  • Valid RN license required.
  • EPIC experience is mandatory.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
  • Chemo certification is required.
  • Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.
