Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, including medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing or travel RN experience
• Previous Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Ability and willingness to float between hospital units as needed
• Availability for the required 12-hour day-shift schedule

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments, medication administration, care planning, and clinical documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float to assigned hospital units and adapt quickly to changing patient-care needs
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance with clinical standards
