Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS required
• Successful completion of ECG/Telemetry and Medication testing during onboarding
• Ability to achieve an 85% passing score on required testing, with one attempt only
• Experience caring for geriatric patients preferred
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and maintain safe, accurate clinical documentation
• Care for patients with dementia, confusion, impulsivity, and behavioral disturbances
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered care
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 4:1
• Support a safe, organized, and efficient unit environment during busy night shifts
• Complete orientation and unit-specific onboarding requirements successfully
