Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Ability to successfully pass a telemetry competency exam
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to complete onboarding dysrhythmia and medication testing
• Strong knowledge of critical paths preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with float pool assignments and overflow areas

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled nursing care to patients on Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float to like units and overflow areas as needed
• Collaborate with the care team to support quality outcomes and smooth patient flow
• Complete required onboarding assessments and maintain compliance with assignment standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy acute care hospital setting
