Must-Have: Must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
Must complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores.
Description:
We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse.
This position involves caring for patients in a specialized medical/surgical tele unit.
Traveling nurses may float to other units to provide care for the same patient population as needed.
Shifts will rotate between nights and days, with hours being either 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm.
Shifts may vary as needed to meet operational needs.
Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty they are applying for.
An active Ohio license or compact license is mandatory prior to submission.
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS need to be current and in hand.
References from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for are required for qualification.
Travelers are subject to a nicotine-free requirement, except for nurses and surgical technologists.
Candidates must complete background checks and drug screening as per facility policies.
Nurses must adhere to annual competency requirements if returning on contract.
