Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in specialty applying for
License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license required
Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
Must-Have:
MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
MUST HAVE a Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required at time of submission.
Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
Description:
The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
Potential to float to other units as needed to care for the same patient population.
The worker will rotate shifts between nights and days as operational needs arise.
Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the facility.
An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation.
An acceptable score on both assessments is required for continued employment.
Additional requirements include the completion of background checks, and drug screens within specified timelines.
Nurses must remain compliant with annual competencies and other facility requirements.
Nurses are exempt from Nicotine Free Facility requirements.
All other travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10 panel drug screen required.
Referral references from a manager or director in the specialty applying for are required.
