Shift: 12H Nights | EOW | First to Float
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hrs/week

Unit: 15 beds
Ratio: 1:5
Charting System: MEDITECH

Requirements:

• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• EPIC experience REQUIRED
• Must pass Basic Dysrhythmia exam with 83% or higher; 3 attempts allowed
• Med/Surg and Tele experience
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Must be comfortable with trach, PEG, Foley, central line, IV, NGT, medication administration, assessments, care plans, patient education, and O2 management
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Must be willing to float first
• May float between Bryan and College Station campuses
• Call/standby required
• Must meet weekend and holiday requirements
• Start dates: 10/19–10/28 only
• EPIC conversion begins 10/30
• DL copy required at submission
• Candidates cannot have been directly employed by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity within the past year

Patient Population: COPD, sepsis, pneumonia, UTI, AMS, pancreatitis, diverticulitis, cancer, hospice, hyperkalemia, renal failure, and non-cardiac telemetry patients.

Schedule: Self-scheduling and block scheduling allowed; 8–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; 2 majors + 1 minor holiday.

Scrubs: Navy.
