Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg/Tele
Job Details:
• Day/Evening 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Will accept 4x12 scheduling
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays on rotation
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• 3+ years of recent experience in Heme/ONC/BMT required
• Level 1 trauma or similar size hospital experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty required
• EPIC experience required
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Active RN license required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher
• Telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms including ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole
• No incorrect answers permitted on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks
• Traveler will have two attempts to pass the telemetry exam; a third attempt requires submission of a cardiac interpretation review course certificate of completion
• Provide care for acutely ill patients including those undergoing bone marrow, stem cell transplant, and cellular therapies (CAR T)
• Care for patients with complex disease processes including leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumor cancers, and Graft-Versus-Host Disease
• Administer chemotherapy, assist with stem cell transplant procedures, bone marrow biopsies, and blood products
• Access central lines and ports and perform head-to-toe assessments
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based research studies
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Unit is a 41-bed hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, and palliative care inpatient unit
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
