Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Peripheral line care and management
• Nasogastric oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
• Activation and use of rapid response teams
• Follow isolation precautions
• Handle patient diagnoses related to cardiovascular health and wounds

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• BLS certification
• EPIC charting experience
• 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg/Telemetry
• Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
