Description:
RN MS/Tele Float position available.
Start date is 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier, biweekly starts.
Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:5-6 for days and weekends, and 1:6 for nights.
First-timers will be considered for this role.
Weekend requirements include every other weekend or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, plus holiday rotation obligations.
Certifications required include BCLS and ACLS; IV start and Telemetry skills are necessary.
Employees will float to medical units, including renal, oncology, and neuro.
Workers are informed of their specific unit assignment before shifts.
Staffing includes opportunities to call in for unit assignments up to an hour before scheduled shifts.
There are no accommodations for block scheduling.
Local candidates are not accepted within a specified radius.
Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract.
Guaranteed hours include 3 shifts per 13 weeks, contingent on regular shift length.
Special requirements may include training for lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanners.
The facility offers a short-term acute care environment catering to adult and geriatric patient populations.
Daily census varies from 28 to 50 patients depending on the assigned unit.
Travelers are required to float within their service line.
Mid-contract cancellations are not permitted.
Candidates are advised that there is a compliance deadline that must be adhered to.
Modules are required to be completed prior to the start date, and specific testing may be necessary.
