TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of bedside nursing experience required License: Submit without license acceptable; requires appropriate state or compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; additional certifications preferred Must-Have: - Strong nursing skills - Ability to work independently - Experience in a hospital setting Description: Will float within scope to meet facility needs. Nurses will float to Med Surg, Trauma, Oncology, Heart and Vascular, Neuro, Medicine, and COVID departments. Some floors involve primary nursing. The expectation is that nurses will float shift to shift to all inpatient areas, excluding certain units. Must pass an EKG exam. Must have experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. Strong, independent, and experienced nurses are needed to float within a large campus. Patient ratios are 1:4-6. Every other weekend is required for scheduling. Previous charge experience is not required, but preferred. Travel experience is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable in the administration of chemotherapy, cardiac telemetry, and management of dysrhythmias. Other skills needed include oxygen administration and peripheral line care/management. The facility provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. This position involves various patient diagnoses across multiple departments. Strong commitment to patient care is expected in this dynamic role. All travelers will float within the service line.
