This is a night shift position requiring 3 shifts per week. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Weekend shifts are required, with 2 shifts every other weekend. The nurse may be required to float to another telemetry unit as needed. This role involves caring for post-surgical patients along with a variety of telemetry cases. Candidates should have experience in managing and interpreting dysrhythmias. Charting is done using an electronic health record system. All documentation is expected to be completed accurately and timely. The facility has a total of 233 staffed beds and provides acute care services. Medical and religious exemptions for flu vaccinations are allowed. All applicants should be prepared to fulfill their contractual obligations fully.
