- Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 for days and weekends, 1:6 for nights
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum plus holiday rotation obligation
- Float within scope to meet facility needs
- Float to all medical units, renal, oncology, and neuro
Description:
The position requires an RN for MS/Tele float duties.
The RN will float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units.
The nurse will be responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.
The RN must have experience with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and managing patient care in a high-acuity environment.
The RN will be expected to participate in holiday rotation obligations.
Orientation will be provided for specific equipment.
It is required to have abilities in central line care, dysrhythmia management, and wound care.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
Completion of specific training modules is expected prior to the start of the assignment.
