Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing - Ability to manage cardiac drips (no titration) - Proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Skilled in IV insertion and maintenance - Experience with feeding tube care and management - Knowledgeable in isolation precautions and wound care Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a telemetry unit focusing on the management of patients with cardiac conditions. Daily census is approximately 29 patients with a bed capacity of 30. The nurse will be responsible for direct patient care including assessments, interventions, and administering medications. Strong clinical skills in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care are essential for success in this role. Nurses will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. They should be able to effectively float within service lines as needed. Weekend shifts are required, with approximately 4-6 shifts every 6 weeks. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care.
