First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Burien, Washington.

RN – Med Surg Tele Float Pool

Location: Burien, WA
⏳ Contract: 13 weeks
Weekly Pay:$2,270/week gross

Shift Details
Night Shift
3 × 12-hour shifts
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every Other Weekend Required
Holiday Requirement: Yes
Call/Standby: No

Requirements

  • Clinical profile review required; manager will call for interview
  • BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
  • Must have experience with dialysis patients, cardiac skills & Tele
  • Preferred: PCU/ICU experience
  • RN must be comfortable floating to Tele units
  • Ratios: 1:6
  • Unit: 34 beds
  • EPIC
  • Centralized scheduling
  • Unit orientation: 1–2 days
  • Professional scrub colors accepted

Unit / Patient Details

  • Med Surg / Tele Float Pool
  • Common diagnoses: Heart dysrhythmias, GI issues, dialysis & general medical patients
  • Low-dose dopamine may be titrated
  • Telemetry techs monitor EKG strips; RNs do not read strips
  • Charge Nurse / House Supervisor available
  • Nurse Aides available
  • Float requirement: Everyone floats to Tele units

Region I Floating
Primary facility: St. Anne Hospital – Burien, WA

Travelers may be required to float throughout Region I:

  • St. Francis Hospital – Federal Way, WA
  • Virginia Mason Medical Center – Seattle, WA
  • St. Anne Hospital – Burien, WA

Additional $20/hour when floated within Region I to a non-primary facility
