Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Current acute-care MS/Telemetry experience is a HARD STOP requirement
- Must have worked consistently in the same specialty within the last 12 months
- BLS required
- Epic experience required
- Travel experience not required

- IV therapy, phlebotomy, and IV management
- Port access/management
- Chemotherapy administration
- PCA management
- Insulin drip titration
- BiPAP/CPAP management

Unit Information
- Unit: 19 James Medical Oncology
- Beds: 36
- Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
- Patient Focus: Oncology and medical-surgical patients
- Common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon and esophageal cancers, sickle cell crises, and patients receiving chemotherapy.
- Strong focus on cardiac monitoring, chemotherapy care, infection prevention, fall prevention, symptom management, and comorbidity management.
- May float to other Med/Surg Oncology units based on unit needs.
- Weekend requirements vary according to unit needs.
- Orientation: 72 hours
