License: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: - EPIC experience preferred. - Previous travel experience preferred. Description: The position requires a registered nurse in the Med-Surg/Telemetry specialty. The nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients. Float may be required to units of similar or lower acuity as needed. The daily census may involve caring for patients with various diagnoses including joint replacements, fractures, post-operative neurosurgery, stroke and TIA, seizures, and infections. Skills required for this role include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line management, telemonitoring, wound care, and IV therapy. Interdisciplinary support on the unit includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. It is important for candidates to be fully pre-closed to sign if offered. The position will adhere to required infection control policies and safety protocols. Candidates with pending licenses will be considered, but an active license must be in hand prior to the start date.
