Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required License: Active RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Pending License OK, must be in hand prior to start) Must-Have: Ability to start IV lines and draw labs Description: Shift: 3x12 Nights; 1900-0730. Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius. Preferred: BSN. Must be able to start IV lines and draw labs. BCLS and ACLS certifications required. Pending license is acceptable; active license must be obtained before starting. This facility is a certified Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center with a focus on providing urgent, primary, specialty, and emergency care. The unit offers a range of support services including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and Pharmacy. Patient diagnoses include joint replacements, fractures, post-operative neurosurgery, strokes, and a variety of medical-surgical conditions. Required skills include managing blood product administration, phlebotomy, and telemetry monitoring. Additional responsibilities include wound care and various post-operative care procedures. The patient ratio is 5:1 during all shifts. Float requirements and on-call duties have not been established for this position. Modules completed during orientation time are recorded through the designated platform.
